The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-caliberNetwork Engineerto provide strategic technical guidance and advanced support across Navitas' global WAN, LAN, Security, and VoIP domains.
Reporting directly to the Global Network Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving network automation, executing major infrastructure upgrades, and shaping our future technology roadmaps.
This position offers a strong blend of technical execution, vendor collaboration and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support:Act as an escalation point for the network team; monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the global enterprise WAN, LAN, Security, and VoIP environments.
Projects & Upgrades:Contribute to major network deployments, site expansions, hardware refreshes, and architecture enhancements.
Network Design & Strategy:Influence technology roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies,
and collaborate with business leaders and external vendors.
Automation & Continual Improvement:Standardize configurations through templating and build automation frameworks to streamline operational workflows.
Mentorship:Support and mentor junior team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Documentation:Maintain high-quality IT network diagrams, deployment standards, and procedural knowledge-base resources.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will be a collaborative, forward-thinking technical leader who thrives in complex enterprise environments.
Certifications
Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification, or equivalent enterprise-level industry experience.
Routing & Switching
Advanced knowledge of enterprise LAN/WLAN, VLANs, L2/L3 switching, and routing protocolsBGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
Firewall & Edge Security
Deep hands-on experience withPalo Alto / Panorama, alongside proficiency inCisco ISE, Cisco Secure Access, Umbrella, and VPN technologies (IPSec, DMVPN, SSLVPN).
Automation
Practical experience streamlining network environments usingPythonandAnsible.
Soft Skills
Proven ability to mentor technical staff, manage stakeholders, and bridge technical solutions with business goals.
Flexibility
Willingness to work outside standard hours
