Role Summary
The Head of Faculty is a leadership role that monitors and maintains current assessment practices and ensures that high academic standards are upheld across subjects within their area of responsibility.
The position requires strong Christian values and experience in significant leadership roles, with an innovative approach to education, team-oriented teamwork and a commitment to the agile and progressive environment of Lakeside College.
Key Selection Criteria
An active Christian faith and willingness to uphold the ethos of the Lutheran Church of Australia
Evidence of capacity to contribute to, and uphold, the positive Lakeside College staff culture
An up-to-date knowledge of state and national curriculum along with comprehensive knowledge of specific subject content for Years 7-12
Capacity to reflect critically upon their professional practice
Highly developed ability to establish and develop positive and constructive relationships with students, staff, parents and members of the wider community
Commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities as a member of the College team




Demonstrated ability to uphold a Childsafe culture
