Responsible for the management and efficient performance of specific pharmaceutical services to the antimicrobial stewardship program of ISLHD. To work in a multi-disciplinary team with the infectious diseases unit to supervise and co-ordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical care relating to antimicrobial therapy. To institute programs and systems of care in conjunction with the infectious diseases unit that will ensure efficacious and cost effective use of antimicrobial agents. To work in the clinical pharmacy team to ensure best patient outcomes.

Wollongong Hospital is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

Requirements:
This is a temporary leave relief position until 18 December **** with the possibility of extension.
Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy practice, particularly in the management of infectious diseases. Appropriate postgraduate study will be highly regarded.
Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Current AHPRA Registration with no restrictions on practice.
