About the role
The Child Psychologist is responsible for providing psychologist assessment and therapeutic services to Aboriginal children aged between the ages of 0-12 and their families to optimise the child's mental health.
The position works within a multidisciplinary team to support children with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioural challenges including early assessment, therapy, management and family support to limit the severity and progression of mental health challenges.

To be considered for this position, you will require:
Full registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Eligibility to apply for a Medicare Provider Number and bill for services rendered
Demonstrated experience in providing psychological support to children, particularly those aged 0-12 years, with a strong understanding of child development
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate sensitively in a cross-cultural environment
Current Drivers Licence.
