The Prospect Reporting to senior operational leadership, you will be responsible for leading a team of patient administration professionals while ensuring the efficient delivery of patient access services.
You will work closely with clinicians and key stakeholders to enhance patient experiences, optimise appointment management, and support operational performance across the service.
Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a patient administration team, including rostering, onboarding, training, coaching and performance management.
Oversee patient bookings, waitlists, recalls and appointment scheduling to maximise service delivery and patient access.
Manage patient enquiries, complaints and escalations, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service enhancement projects.
Manage administrative budgets, financial reconciliations and reporting requirements.
Develop strong relationships with clinicians and internal stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to drive positive patient and operational outcomes.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Demonstrated experience leading teams within a healthcare, clinical or patient services environment.
Strong operational and people leadership capabilities.
Experience managing patient administration, bookings, scheduling or customer service functions.
Proven ability to handle complaints, resolve issues and manage competing priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
A continuous improvement mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience with healthcare management systems will be highly regarded.
