Job Description Responsibilities/Scope of Task: The Commercial Specialists provide Procurement and Contract Management Services support with the development of commercial strategies, including identification of the recommended procurement methods across a range of capability acquisition and sustainment programs within all domains.
This position will enable the achievement of strategic objectives, provide subject matter expertise in engineering and project management principles and concepts, and support the successful achievement of outcomes across the project.
Requirements Duties will include: Supporting the delivery of complex procurement activities and developing procurement and tender documentation.
For example, activities such as developing procurement strategies, endorsements to proceed for Commonwealth approval, request for tender documentation, tender evaluation plans, evaluation reports, liability risk assessments, managing the procurement schedule etc.
Supporting contract management of contracts for materiel acquisition.
For example, activities such as processing contract changes, reviewing contract deliverables, managing contractor performance, assisting the Commonwealth when they are leading negotiation with prime contractors, developing delegate approvals, developing contract management plans etc.
Providing accurate and timely specialist commercial and finance advice and guidance to delegates and stakeholders.
Assuring compliance with relevant departmental procurement policies.
Identifying and managing commercial and finance risks.
Preparing internal briefs,
approval submissions and reports.
Coordinating project representation at key contract meetings.
Requirements Key duties and responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer who has experience working in large complex ICT environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, managing and tuning the department's storage systems at physical and virtual layers.
The Senior Storage Engineer will also be responsible to deploy, configure and manage Storage Area Network Switches as required.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of recent and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the department's storage and data platforms.
The role requires producing design documents, build documents, operations document, handover and sharing of knowledge with other team members and mentoring junior team members.
Essential criteria 1.Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the design, administration, tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems: • HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra Storage Systems • NetApp E-Series • Dell Data Domain • Brocade Fabric Switches • SANnav • Scality Artesca 2.Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.
3.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff.
4.Experience / Knowledge of following technology: • Veeam Backup and Replication
