The Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong analytical and Power BI skills to join our APAC Finance team on a permanent basis and based out of our Erskine Park office in Sydney. Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Brisbane based), you will play a critical role as our Power BI SME and in providing financial insights, reporting models and projections to support strategic decision‐making.
Responsibilities
Act as Business Intelligence SME through ownership of Power BI in terms of data integrity, dashboard creation, training and support.
Provide data, analysis, and modelling support to projects across the business.
Lead and coordinate the financial planning and analysis activities for key business units across Australia & New Zealand.
Act as a trusted advisor to the operational teams, providing financial expertise and guidance, developing financial models, scenario analysis, business cases, and investment evaluations for strategic projects.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the financial health and performance of the business, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
Key involvement in budgeting and forecasting end‐to‐end processes for P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Capex.
Qualifications




Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role within a large, complex setting.
Advanced proficiency with financial modelling and analysis tools (Power BI and MS Excel).
Industry experience across inventory or supply‐chain focused business will be advantageous.
Excellent analytical, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
Demonstrated commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial drivers, influence decision‐making, and optimise business performance.
