Overview
As the Clinical Lead at headspace Karratha, you will lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of young people across the Pilbara. You will provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to ensure young people receive high-quality, evidence-based care, while collaborating with clinicians, families and community partners to influence service delivery and strengthen clinical practice in a welcoming, inclusive and culturally safe environment.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance to a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health care for young people.
Collaborate with clinicians, private practitioners, families and community partners to support service delivery and care coordination.
Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and the ongoing refinement of clinical practices.
Support risk assessment and management for young people with diverse and complex presentations.
Promote a culturally safe, trauma-informed approach and strong relationships with young people, families and communities.
Qualifications
Applicants must be mental health professionals who hold registration with an accredited Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant professional association and have experience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges and diagnosed mental health disorders. This may include: Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist,
Registered Nurse with appropriate mental health experience and skills, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Social Worker.
Demonstrated experience providing assessment, intervention and care coordination for young people experiencing mental health challenges, including complex presentations and risk management.
Proven experience providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in clinical governance, quality improvement and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based services.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with young people, families, community partners and health professionals.
Flexibility to work in regional or remote environments, with a strong commitment to cultural sensitivity, equity and inclusion.
Current WA Working with Children Check and a WA Driver's License; willing to obtain National Police Clearance if required.
Remuneration and benefits
Salary starting from $135,435 per annum (inclusive of 10% remote locality allowance) + 12% super
Tax-free salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per annum
Rent subsidy up to $350 per week and electricity allowance up to $1,000 per annum (eligibility criteria apply)
Additional 8 days of annual leave per year
