Melbourne CBD | 12 Month Daily Rate Contract | Government Program
Talenza are partnering with a large government organisation to recruit an experienced Business Project Manager to support a major Data & Digital Delivery Enablement program.
This role will see you leading and coordinating complex procurement and delivery activities across strategic ICT contracts, vendors and enterprise platforms. You will work closely with procurement, commercial, PMO and technical teams to ensure delivery outcomes, governance requirements and project milestones are achieved.
This is a hands‐on role suited to a robust delivery professional who can operate across multiple workstreams in a fast‐paced and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery activities across complex procurement and contract workstreams
Manage integrated schedules, milestones, dependencies and governance deliverables
Coordinate approach-to-market activities including RFP/RFQ processes, evaluations, negotiations and transition planning
Support the development of procurement artefacts including SOWs, SLAs, pricing schedules and project documentation
Drive stakeholder engagement across delivery, procurement, legal, architecture, security and vendor teams
Manage vendor coordination across contract extensions, renewals and transition activities
Maintain risks, issues, decisions and governance registers across the program
Deliver high-quality reporting, project documentation and executive updates
Ensure compliance with government procurement frameworks,



approval processes and probity requirements
Key Requirements
Proven experience delivering complex ICT or digital programs within government or highly regulated environments
Strong experience managing government RFP/RFQ and approach-to-market programs
Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-vendor environments and procurement activities
Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management and governance processes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams
Strong project planning, risk management and documentation capability
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to tight deadlines
Experience working within Agile and enterprise delivery environments
Australian Citizenship is required
Eligibility to obtain Baseline Security Clearance is essential
Nice to Have
Experience working across enterprise digital, cloud, integration or data platforms
Exposure to DTA panels, AusTender and government procurement frameworks
Experience supporting transition‐in / transition‐out activities or major contract renewals
