The role:
This is your opportunity to take ownership of an established regional territory while playing a key role in growing one of Australia's leading masonry businesses!
Managing a portfolio of existing customers across regional Victoria, you'll spend your time building strong relationships, uncovering new opportunities and helping customers deliver successful construction projects. From builders and bricklayers to landscape suppliers and resellers, you'll become their trusted partner, providing outstanding service and practical solutions across our range of concrete masonry products including bricks, blocks and pavers.
With the flexibility to design your own day, you'll enjoy the autonomy of a field-based role. Most of your time will be spent on the road visiting customers across
your territory, which includes
Ballarat, Bendigo, Mildura, Albury, Mt Gambier and surrounding regional areas
. You'll also regularly connect with the team at our Campbellfield and Bendigo sites for training, collaboration and sales meetings, while balancing your time with planning, quoting and customer follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow an established portfolio of commercial and residential customers
Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities across your territory
Develop robust relationships with builders, resellers, contractors and construction industry stakeholders
Promote Adbri Masonry's range of concrete masonry products including bricks, blocks and pavers
Prepare quotations and maintain customer activity through Salesforce CRM
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer service and delivery outcomes
Resolve customer enquiries and act as the key point of contact for product and service issues
Achieve sales targets across revenue, margin, volume, customer retention and new business growth




Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to increase market share
About You:
We're looking for someone who is proactive, driven and genuinely enjoys building relationships. Product knowledge can be taught - we're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, commercial mindset and desire to succeed!
You'll ideally bring:
Proven experience in account management with a strong track record in business development and growing new customers.
Experience selling products such as masonry, concrete, building materials, timber, construction products or other industrial products will be highly regarded
Solid relationship-building and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce (desirable)
Intermediate Microsoft Office and Excel skills
A current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout your regional territory
