Senior Workers Compensation Claims Consultant
to join a leading personal injury and claims management insurerbased in Perth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven team that supports injured workers throughout their recovery journey. You will play a key role in managing complex claims, driving positive outcomes and supporting individuals to successfully return to work.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Workers Compensation Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end workers compensation claims within a
self-insured environment
. Working as a senior member of the team, you will provide technical expertise, support escalations and contribute to continuous improvement across the claims function.
You will be passionate about delivering customer-focused outcomes while balancing legislative requirements, claim strategy and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of complex workers compensation claims from lodgement through to resolution
Develop and implement proactive claims strategies to achieve optimal outcomes and minimise claim costs
Assess liability, entitlements, payments and recovery opportunities in line with legislation and policy requirements
Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, rehabilitation providers and internal stakeholders
Manage rehabilitation and return-to-work plans to support successful recovery outcomes
Provide coaching,



guidance and support to team members as a senior member of the claims function
About You
You will be an experienced Workers Compensation professional with a strong understanding of claims management and a genuine passion for supporting people through their recovery journey.
You will bring:
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end workers compensation claims
Strong knowledge of claims strategy, liability assessment and rehabilitation processes
A customer-focused and empathetic approach
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
Experience within a self-insured environment (highly regarded)
