About The Role:
Work across a practice comprising approximately 80% construction disputes and 20% front-end project advisory work.
Act for principals, contractors, subcontractors, engineers and consultants on significant construction and infrastructure matters.
Advise on major construction disputes, Security of Payment adjudications and complex project issues across Queensland and nationally.
Gain exposure to high-profile infrastructure and resources projects while working alongside recognised leaders in the field.

Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse caseload of back-end construction matters, including litigation, adjudications and dispute resolution.
Provide front-end advice on construction contracts, risk allocation and project delivery.
Represent clients in Security of Payment adjudications and other complex construction disputes.
Deliver commercially focused advice throughout the lifecycle of major construction and infrastructure projects.




Develop strong client relationships while contributing to the continued success of the team.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 4 years' PAE in construction law, with junior Special Counsel candidates also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience in construction disputes, with exposure to front-end advisory work viewed favourably.
Solid technical drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commercially minded with excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
A collaborative approach and genuine interest in building a long-term career in construction law.
Work on premium construction and infrastructure matters with sophisticated national clients.
