About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Technical Business Analyst
with strong
Microsoft Dynamics
expertise to join a leading banking client in Sydney. This role will focus on delivering technology solutions across the
Cards & Payments
domain, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and integration partners to gather requirements, analyse data, and support end-to-end solution delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands‐on experience with payment technologies, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions within an Agile workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
Work with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Analyse data using SQL to support business decisions, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
Define and document API and system integration requirements.
Support integrations involving Kafka, MQ,



TCP/IP, and enterprise messaging platforms.
Work on Cards & Payments initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protocols.
Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement, user story creation, and Agile ceremonies.
Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities.
Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively across business and technology teams.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ Years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the Banking industry.
Hands‐on experience with
Microsoft Dynamics (Mandatory)
.
Strong knowledge of
Cards & Payments
, including: AS****, ISO****, 3D Secure (3DS), Tokenisation
Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis and validation.
Experience working with
APIs, Kafka, MQ, and TCP/IP integrations
.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in the Fraud & Scam domain.
Knowledge of SAS Fraud Management.
Experience with ETL processes.
Exposure to PRM and migration programmes.
