You're naturally outgoing, love talking to people, enjoy helping customers find the right solution, and you're ready to step into something with more responsibility and genuine earning potential.
GBS Recruitment is excited to partner with a brand-new national retailer opening its first Traralgon showroom. This is your opportunity to become the face of the business locally and help build something exciting from day one.
This isn't just another retail job. It's an opportunity to run the showroom as if it's your own business, with the backing of an established national brand and a business owner who is genuinely invested in your success.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the person customers remember.
You'll welcome customers into the showroom, listen to what they're looking for, provide qualified advice, guide them through the product range and create an outstanding buying experience.
Manage the day-to-day operation of the showroom
Build relationships with local customers and businesses
Maintain an inviting, well-presented showroom
Drive sales and grow the local customer base
Work closely with the business owner, who will provide comprehensive product training
No installations. No heavy trade work. Your focus is people, sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Experience in retail, sales or customer service
A bubbly, positive and approachable personality
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Confidence building rapport with all types of customers
A professional appearance and strong work ethic
The ability to work independently and take ownership of the showroom
Management experience is welcomed, but it isn't essential. We're far more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, personality and desire to succeed.
