How you'll make a difference
Build your technical skills and industry knowledge while working alongside experienced engineers and transport planners.
Assist with gathering and organising engineering data using established procedures and systems.
Support the delivery of transport and traffic engineering projects by contributing to technical calculations, analysis and project documentation.
Learn how engineering standards and guidelines are applied in the planning and design of transport infrastructure.
Contribute to developing innovative solutions that address real‐world transport and mobility challenges.
Gain exposure to safe systems principles and how they are used to create safer outcomes for all road users.
Assist with projects that plan and improve the movement of people across different transport modes, including aviation, roads, public transport, walking and cycling.
Participate in project meetings,
site visits and multidisciplinary collaboration to build practical engineering experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering – penultimate year.
Strong interest in pavements for aviation and highways.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
Positive and proactive attitude, adaptability and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand. Candidates with student or graduate visas are welcome.
Availability to work full‐time hours from 16 November **** to 19 February ****.
