About the role...
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Finance Manager is responsible for maintaining the financial health of the business by overseeing the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and providing insights that support sustainable business growth. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys being hands-on, improving processes, and partnering with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day finance function across LUV Bridal Australia, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all financial activities.
Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to 2-3 direct reports
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
Manage cash flow, working capital and financial planning.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations and general ledger activities.
Review and assist with day-to-day accounting transactions where required.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, taxation and regulatory obligations, including supporting international finance requirements where applicable.
Provide financial analysis and commercial insights to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
About you:




Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment
Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA/CA qualification.
Strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with the ability to optimise financial reporting and processes.
Experience managing finance across multiple international entities, with a sound understanding of VAT requirements, international accounting practices and cross-border financial operations.
Someone who enjoys working in a hands-on role, can adapt to changing priorities and can confidently navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation and statutory compliance.
Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, management reporting and cash flow analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to quickly build relationships, work autonomously and deliver results in a changing setting.
