Join a brand-new team established to deliver key initiatives under Project Keystone, CBUS enterprise-wide Risk Transformation Program.
This is a full-time 12-month Maximum Term Contract position based in Melbourne.
Reporting to the Head of Risk Frameworks Execution, you will lead strategic risk and compliance initiatives that enhance governance, strengthen risk management practices and uplift organisational capability.
This is an chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future state of risk management at Cbus, working with senior stakeholders across the business to drive enterprise-wide change.
Responsibilities
Lead design, implementation and continuous improvement of risk and compliance frameworks, policies, standards and governance processes.
Drive Project Keystone initiatives across enterprise risk management, risk and control assessments, obligations management, issue management, incident management and breach governance.
Support the ongoing uplift and maturity of the Risk Management Framework and associated governance practices.
Develop risk reporting and insights that support Executive and Board-level decision-making.
Analyse risk and control data to identify trends, emerging risks and opportunities for improvement.
Partner with senior leaders to strengthen risk and compliance capability across the organisation.
Lead and support strategic risk transformation and change initiatives.
Requirements
Extensive experience in risk management, compliance, governance or operational risk within financial services or another highly regulated environment.
Demonstrated experience leading complex risk, compliance or transformation initiatives.
Essential experience conducting and facilitating Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).




Alternatively experience in Line 2 oversight and challenge of RCSA.
Strong understanding of enterprise risk management, controls, obligations management, incidents, issues, breaches and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Proven experience developing frameworks, policies, standards and governance artefacts.
Experience analysing complex risk information and producing Executive and Board-level reporting.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline preferred.
