Your New Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations Advisory, this role is responsible for leading controls governance, processes, reporting, monitoring and data quality uplift to strengthen the overall control environment.
Controls are a fundamental component of the Funds risk management framework.
Effective governance, oversight and management of controls are critical to reducing risk exposures, strengthening organisational resilience and supporting solid risk outcomes across the Fund.
What Youll Need




Hold an accreditation in Risk Management from a recognised body like Risk Management Institute of Australasia (RMIA) or Governance Institute of Australia (GIA ), or be willing to obtain one after joining AustralianSuper.
Demonstrated ability to understand and translate external regulatory requirements to shape business outcomes.
10+ years
experience in 1st and/or 2nd line risk management, with a proven track record of success in these positions.
Regulated industry experience, ideally in financial services.
Experience working in or leading reporting, financial and risk/governance functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and understand how parts interact with the whole.
Developed written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to create buy-in and communicate strategy and concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
