Supply and Distribution Manager
to oversee procurement, warehousing, inventory management and distribution operations, ensuring our products are sourced, stored and delivered efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and customer service.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and improving the company's end-to-end supply chain operations. You will oversee the procurement of fresh produce, inventory control, warehouse operations and distribution activities to ensure products are purchased, stored and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and monitor purchasing, inventory, warehousing and distribution strategies to support business operations and future growth.
Coordinate procurement activities and negotiate with growers, wholesalers and suppliers to achieve quality, cost and delivery objectives.
Monitor market conditions, seasonal supply and customer demand to optimise purchasing decisions and inventory levels.
Plan and oversee warehouse operations, inventory control and stock rotation to minimise waste and maintain product freshness.
Monitor inventory records and supply chain information systems to ensure accurate stock movements, timely replenishment and effective inventory control.
Coordinate inbound deliveries, receiving schedules and supplier logistics.
Manage daily distribution activities to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Liaise with suppliers, warehouse staff, transport providers and customers to ensure effective and responsive supply chain operations.




Analyse supply chain performance and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, warehouse productivity and distribution performance.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain management, procurement, warehousing, logistics or distribution management.
Experience in fresh produce, agricultural products or other seasonal commodities will be highly regarded.
Strong understanding of procurement planning, supplier management, inventory control, warehouse operations and distribution processes.
Experience coordinating purchasing activities, supplier relationships and inventory planning across multiple suppliers.
Experience managing warehouse operations, logistics providers and product distribution.
Proven ability to analyse demand, optimise inventory levels and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
Previous experience leading warehouse, logistics or operational teams will be highly regarded.
Excellent organisational, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP or inventory management systems.
