About The Role
Join our Mining Operators team as aShotcrete Operator.
You'll operate a shotcrete rig and underground equipment to apply fibrecrete, inspect ground conditions, conduct QA/QC tests, maintain equipment, and support daily mining operations.
Must be mature, reliable, team-oriented, and experienced in underground hard rock mining, with the ability to perform under pressure and maintain high safety standards.
Roster: 7/7, 12 hours per day (Day & Night shift)
Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW
Travel options
Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar.
Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance.
DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance.
Qualifications And Experience
Previous experience in a similar role in underground hard rock mining environment
Proven ability to operate shotcrete rigs, IT loaders, and underground agitator trucks
Skilled in applying shotcrete/fibrecrete to specification
Strong commitment to safety and risk management




Effective time and resource management to meet operational goals
Strong teamwork, communication skills, and reliability
Demonstrates initiative, resilience, and problem‐solving under pressure
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Desirable
Ability to obtain or hold an Underground Security Clearance (UHL)
