Your Role
Come join our growing engineering team as an Engineering Delivery Manager. In this role, you will drive the end‐to‐end delivery of engineering and technical projects and programmes by aligning cross‐functional teams, managing priorities, and ensuring solutions are delivered on time,



within scope, and to the required quality standards.
The position supports execution, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement in delivery performance, combining strong project management discipline with technical understanding.
Working at our Melbourne office, on Wurundjeri Land, some of your roles and responsibilities include:
Lead end‐to‐end planning and delivery of engineering and technical projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope, budget, and quality expectations in alignment with customer needs, business objectives, Product Policy, and product roadmaps.
Effectively coordinate across cross‐functional teams to manage dependencies, priorities, and delivery commitments.
Translate customer and stakeholder requirements into actionable technical strategies and architectures.
Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, issues, and constraints during project execution.
Build and maintain high stakeholder confidence through transparent communication, timely reporting, and predictable project execution.
Ensure effective resource utilisation and support team productivity and delivery excellence within a matrix organization.
Monitor project progress against defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality targets; implement corrective actions as required.




Frequent travel to Bendigo Production site will be required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Eligible for NER (National Engineering Register) and CPEng (Chartered Professional Engineer) accreditation with Engineers Australia.
Essential Experience
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in technical project delivery and management.
Demonstrated experience delivering engineering or technical projects within complex, matrixed, or cross‐functional environments.
Sufficient technical awareness to engage credibly with engineering teams, understand delivery impacts, and support informed decision‐making.
Strong fundamental understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budget management, estimation, milestone tracking, and risk management.
Proven ability to lead and manage technical engineering projects, meeting requirements while maintaining a clear view of risks and opportunities.
Ability to verify and assess the technical deliverables of engineering teams (such as customer needs, requirements, and architectural choices).
Desirable Experience
Previous experience delivering projects in accordance with ASDEFCON (Australian Standard for Defence Contracting) requirements.
Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices.
Experience using project planning tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
Direct experience supporting bids and tendering activities.
As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
