GM Finance - Group Planning and Performance (2ic to CFO)
The company is a publicly listed, Australian group generating revenue in excess of $10billion.
It is a diverse and complex multinational with a portfolio of high performing healthcare-focused businesses, each with market leading positions in their operating sectors.
Following more than a decade of significant expansion, the group is executing a strategy that will strengthen its core, while continuing to deliver exciting recent opportunities across the portfolio.
To enhance how finance supports this, it is recruiting a GM – Group Planning and Performance.
The role will have a broad and critical mandate in leading and transforming the Financial Planning, Performance Management, Property and Procurement functions, while being a strategic partner to the Group CFO and CEO.
This will include:
Leading and developing teams in Group FP&A;, Finance Business Partnering, Capital & Strategic Investments, Property and Procurement.
Strengthening processes, technology and people across the functions.
Overseeing the design and implementation of new enterprise-wide performance management cadence and centralised data, analytics and insights.




Working closely with the Strategy function to design an updated strategic planning process, and ongoing management of the strategic plan.
Building capability in corporate functions commercial finance, particularly in partnership with Group Technology.
Delivering Board Reporting and non-statutory investor reporting, providing input to full year and half year results releases.
The successful candidate will be 2ic to, and provide succession for, the Group CFO.
Therefore, applicants must have exceptional strategic/commercial acumen combined with proven senior finance leadership experience, partnering with and influencing Executive teams in large, complex, listed organisations.
This will include a robust track record in FP&A;/enterprise performance management and external/investor reporting.
