About The Role Step into this rewarding role of Leisure and Lifestyle Allied Health Assistant based in Hillston just 60 minutes away from Griffith.
You'll play a role in implementing meaningful activities for our residents that relate to their lifespan, interests and preferences while working alongside a fabulous team of health professionals.
Your Responsibilities Involve Facilitate a range of group and individual leisure and lifestyle programsCorrespondence and document management - including the organisation of various deadlines and communications within a multidisciplinary team.
Perform and assist with activities under the supervision and direction of treating Allied Health Professionals such as exercise classes and community outingsFacilitate and participate in diversional therapy activitiesMaintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients and the multidisciplinary team Create individual lifestyle care plans and programs for residents

Our Ideal Candidate Will Hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle / Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (or formal commitment to complete this training within 3 years of employment) or other relevant qualification Demonstrate expert level written and verbal communication skills Have the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team Show outstanding problem-solving skills with demonstrate ability to take initiative
