About MGF Health Hub
MGF Health Hub is a community-focused training and health facility in Peakhurst.
We support people across different stages of life through coach-led programs designed to build strength, confidence and quality of life.
Our programs serve older adults, people living with disability, children and young people—including clients with ADHD and autism—and adults looking for a supportive approach to training.
As our community and services continue to grow, we're looking for an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our team full-time.
The Opportunity
This is an Exercise Physiologist role with the opportunity to take on some operational and team leadership responsibilities.
A significant part of the role will involve developing and delivering programs tailored to the different populations we support.
You'll help ensure each program is safe, purposeful and aligned with the needs and goals of its participants.
The role would suit an early to mid-career EP with one to two years of experience, particularly someone with previous experience in a gym, coaching or team leadership environment.
We also welcome applications from recently graduated Accredited Exercise Physiologists who bring strong coaching or fitness industry experience.
You'll play an important role in growing our services for adults aged 55+, people living with disability, and children and young people, while helping support the smooth day-to-day operation of the studio.
Key Responsibilities
Develop evidence-based programs aligned with the needs of older adults, people living with disability, and children and young people.
Review and adapt programming to accommodate different abilities, conditions and individual goals.
Deliver safe and effective exercise physiology services across individual and group settings.
Support and grow our programs for adults aged 55+.
Work with clients living with disability through our All Abilities program.
Support children and young people, including clients with ADHD and autism.
Build strong relationships with clients and create a welcoming, supportive experience.
Develop and maintain a consistent client caseload.
Work towards clear caseload, performance and billable KPIs.
Assist with general studio operations and day-to-day coordination.
Support roster management and team organisation.
Provide guidance and leadership to coaches when required.
Maintain accurate client documentation and professional standards.
About You
Current accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) is essential.
Ideally one to two years of professional experience; however, strong recently accredited graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience working with children and junior populations is highly advantageous.
Experience working with adults aged 55+ is highly advantageous.
Experience supporting people living with disability or neurodiverse clients is highly regarded.
Previous gym, coaching or group training experience is highly regarded.
Strong programming skills and the ability to develop appropriate programs for different populations and abilities.
Confident working with a diverse range of clients.
Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable taking initiative and contributing to studio operations.
Interested in developing leadership and management capabilities.
Motivated by both client outcomes and the sustainable growth of a caseload.
Relevant skilled checks and certifications, or willingness to obtain them.
Hours
The role will generally operate:
Monday to Friday between 8am - 6pm.
(Start and finish times will vary in those windows)
Occasional work outside these hours, including limited weekend work, may be required.
What We Offer
A full-time role with a varied and meaningful caseload.
The opportunity to develop programs for a diverse range of populations.
The chance to help shape and grow key community programs.
A pathway to develop leadership and operational management experience.
Clear performance expectations and KPI-based bonus opportunities.
A supportive, community-focused team environment.
The opportunity to create a genuine impact across different populations and stages of life.
If you're an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who enjoys programming, coaching, connecting with people and taking ownership beyond the treatment room, we'd love to hear from you.
