$200,000 + 15% Uplift + Progression + Super
Lead HSE across a major long-term energy infrastructure project with genuine influence
Excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior HSE professional looking to step into a high-profile management role with a business that genuinely invests in its people
The Company
This leading infrastructure and energy contractor delivers major projects across the oil & gas, energy and civil sectors throughout Australia.
With a strong pipeline of long-term work, including major projects for some of Australia's largest energy providers, the business continues to grow while maintaining a genuine commitment to developing and retaining its people.
Backed by an ambitious national group and with a strong leadership team that prioritises safety from the executive level down, they are now looking to appoint an HSE Manager to lead safety and environmental performance on a major long-term project.
The Role
In this role you will lead the HSE function across a large, geographically dispersed project, providing strategic leadership while remaining visible and engaged with operational teams.
You'll oversee a multidisciplinary HSE team, support project leadership, and ensure the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement are maintained.
This is a leadership role that requires someone who can influence rather than police, building strong relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, Site Managers and client representatives to create genuine buy-in across the project.
While compliance and legislative knowledge are essential, this is not a purely desk-based management role.
The successful candidate will ideally be a bit of an all-rounder, happy to spend some time in the field supporting the team and the operation.
Working on a long-term project with a 19:9 FIFO roster, travel time included in the 19, this is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious HSE professional looking to take the next step into a significant leadership position with excellent long-term career prospects.

Lead and develop a HSE team across multiple work fronts geographically spread over hundreds of kilometres
Working for a compliance focused client
Promote a proactive safety culture through visible field leadership, training and engagement

Strong understanding of HSE legislation, compliance and environmental management
Experience leading multidisciplinary HSE teams across complex, dispersed operations
Ability to influence senior operational stakeholders and build robust site relationships
ICAM or equivalent investigation training
Willingness to work a 19:9 FIFO roster
Benefits
$200,000 base salary plus 15% uplift
Long-term flagship project with a 5-10 year pipeline of work
Strong culture of internal promotion and career development
Ongoing professional development and supported training pathways
Business with genuine commitment to employee retention and long-term careers
Highly supportive executive leadership with safety at the core of the business
