Position Description
The practice is seeking a Locum General Practitioner to provide high quality primary healthcare services to patients during a temporary placement period. This role offers the opportunity to practice medicine in one of Australia's most desirable coastal locations while working within a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive general medical consultations to patients of all ages
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions




Deliver preventative health care and health promotion
Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records
Collaborate with practice nurses, administrative staff, and allied health providers
Ensure compliance with AHPRA standards, Medicare requirements, and clinical governance guidelines
Essential Position Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (General Registration or Specialist Registration)
FRACGP, FACRRM, or equivalent preferred
Eligibility to provide Medicare services in Australia
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
