FremantleHospitalis a 300-bed specialist hospital deliveringhigh-quality aged care, mental health, rehabilitation, plannedsurgery and medical services. Supporting the tertiary andquaternary services of Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospitalprovides a broad range of specialist care across areas includingorthopaedics, general and plastic surgery, ENT, specialised handsurgery, ophthalmology, urology, vascular, endoscopy, dental andmaxillofacial, and women's health services.

We are currentlyseeking a Senior Pharmacist to join our team.TheSenior Pharmacist promotes safe, rational and cost-effective drugtherapy by providing specialised clinical pharmacy services to thesurgical medicine service which includes monitoring of thepatient's total medication profile, providing drug information andundertaking teaching and research. This role plans, implements andevaluates patient safety and quality of care and participates inquality improvement initiatives within surgical medicine. Thesuccessful applicant will provide clinical expertise and leadershipin the provision of Pharmacy Services to surgical medicine andprovides supervision, training, education and support to pharmacystaff and other disciplines. The Senior Pharmacist ensures practiceis in accordance with the Pharmacy Board of Australia RegistrationStandards, the Pharmacy Board of Australia Codes and Guidelinesincluding the Pharmacy Code of Conduct for Registered HealthPractitioners and SMHS policies andguidelines.
