What We Are Looking For
We're looking for a GIS specialist to join our Assets & Spatial team. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of Council's GIS and spatial analysis services, with a focus on supporting our Strategic Planning team.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Conducting GIS research and analysis
Developing, implementing and maintaining GIS data
Identifying business improvement opportunities and developing proposals
Supporting internal clients on strategic, technical and procedural issues
Undertaking audits and ensuring relevant documentation is accurate
What You'll Need For Success
Significant experience in a similar role across analysis, problem resolution and GIS process design
A high level of spatial software skills with the ability to pick up new systems with ease
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to people with varying levels of knowledge
What's Nice To Have
Experience in local government
Experience producing planning scheme maps
