where you will provide strong operational and people leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, high quality, person centred care and services for our residents. Working closely with residents, families, staff and key stakeholders, you will foster a positive culture that promotes wellbeing, excellence and continuous improvement.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will;
Lead, mentor and develop a high performing multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive, collaborative and accountable workplace culture.
Monitor resources, optimise operational efficiency and manage the facility within approved budgets and financial targets.
Develop, implement and maintain effective policies, procedures and systems that support quality care and operational excellence.
Coordinate the timely and accurate completion of funding and assessment documentation, ensuring compliance and maximising funding outcomes.
Identify, assess and manage organisational, operational and clinical risks, ensuring accreditation standards are consistently achieved and maintained.
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, audits, feedback and resident outcomes.
Build and maintain robust relationships with residents, families, staff, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
Lead workforce planning activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning and employee development.
Champion a resident centred approach that enhances quality of life, dignity, choice and independence for all residents.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, quality standards and workplace health and safety obligations.
About You
You may already be an experienced Care or Facility Manager, or you may be a Registered Nurse with strong clinical leadership experience who is ready to step into a broader management role.
You bring strong business acumen, excellent people leadership skills and a deep understanding of what great customer service looks like in aged care.
You're confident in influencing and negotiation, skilled at building relationships, and able to approach challenges with a solutions focused mindset.
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
An in depth understanding of aged care standards & regulations
Financial & budgeting skills
A genuine desire to develop & lead high performing teams
Compassion, patience and resilience
A recognised qualification in Infection Control or willingness to complete one
