Novotel Surfers Paradise is conveniently situated near Surfers Paradise's famous beaches. We have 408 rooms at the hotel, plus a number of dining options available, including the Restaurant, in-room dining, a pool bar, and the Blvd Café and Bar. We offer a family friendly and hospitable workplace for all. We have a heated outdoor swimming pool, a spa, tennis court, basketball/netball court, and gym for our visitors who want to unwind. We offer six contemporary function rooms with a capacity for up to 500 attendees available for our conference and events visitors.
About the role...
We currently have an opportunities for casual Room Attendants to join our friendly team. Providing great work life balance, generally shift starts at 9am and finishing 2 or 3pm.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals for Room Attendant roles, to help maintain our 4-star Resort. This role will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic and tidy environment throughout the hotel rooms and public area facilities of the property.
As a Room Attendant, your are crucial to the success of the Hotel, ensuring a memorable stay from the moment they enter their hotel room. This is a challenging and physically demanding role, working within tight time constraints and requires a high level of attention to detail, ensuring the room is pristine.
You will be responsible for Room Attendant duties which include but are not limited to:
Keeping guest rooms and public areas clean, fresh, and beautifully presented to the highest standards




Work diligently within the established guidelines to achieve the impeccable standards we hold dear
Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organised and well equipped
Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
Respect guest privacy and security, upholding our commitment to their comfort
Restocking amenities and managing linen supplies with efficiency and care
Promptly reporting any maintenance issues or lost property
Working efficiently and effectively withing tight deadlines
Address and fulfil special requests from guests e.g. delivering additional towels or pillows to the relevant rooms
Replenish guest supplies
Working closely with the Housekeeping and Front Office team to ensure a smooth and seamless guest experience
About you...
Previous experience as a Room Attendant / Housekeeper in a high volume hotel, 200+ rooms
You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks
You enjoy a physical role, in this role you work independently and are allocated 16 rooms to complete in a 6 hour shift, 9am-2pm.
You have a 7-day availability,



as rostered shifts include weekends and public holidays.
You embrace collaborating with colleagues from various backgrounds
