Commercial Lawyer | Associate to Senior Associate
We are excited to offer an chance for a dynamic and commercially minded lawyer to join our growing Commercial team.
This role is ideally suited to a lawyer with 5+ years' post-admission experience who has a strong background in commercial law, trusts and advisory work, and commercial litigation.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Advise clients on a broad range of commercial matters, including contracts, business structuring, corporate governance, regulatory compliance and commercial disputes;
Provide strategic advice on trust structures, trust administration and related advisory matters;
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and transactional documents;
Manage and advise on commercial disputes, including litigation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes;
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients;
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with partners and the marketing team;
Contribute to the development and execution of business development initiatives;
Stay abreast of legal and industry developments to provide proactive and commercially focused advice to clients;
Mentor and support junior lawyers where appropriate.
Skills and Experience
Ideally 5+ years' post-admission experience (PAE) in commercial law;
Demonstrated experience in trusts, advisory and commercial matters;




Litigation and dispute resolution experience is highly desirable;
Strong commercial acumen and ability to understand clients' business objectives;
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills;
Proven ability to manage files autonomously and deliver practical, solution-focused advice;
Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills;
Demonstrated interest or experience in business development and growing client relationships;
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment;
A proactive, professional and commercially focused approach.
