The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Administrator/Consultant to provide advanced functional and technical support for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) within a Western Australian Government department.
This role is central to keeping HR and payroll operations running smoothly, resolving complex incidents, supporting integrations, and maintaining system configuration and data integrity. Experience with UKG Workforce Management is highly regarded.
Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Support
Troubleshoot payroll processing errors, including schemas, PCRs and wage types
Analyse payroll logs and resolve calculation issues
Support retro calculations and off-cycle payroll runs
Investigate EC to ECP replication issues and correct master data inconsistencies
Ensure payroll compliance, accuracy and timeliness
Integration & Data Management
Monitor integrations between EC and ECP (CPI/DRF, middleware)
Troubleshoot interface failures and data replication errors
Ensure data consistency across HR and payroll systems
Configuration & Change Support
Support configuration changes in EC and ECP, including business rules, workflows and payroll configuration




Assist with transport management and post-deployment validation
Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
About You
Proven experience as an SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Administrator or Consultant in a support/BAU capacity
Strong understanding of SAP payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types and payroll processing
Experience troubleshooting EC to ECP replication, master data and integration issues (CPI/DRF, middleware)
Experience developing and analysing EC and ECP reports, including ad-hoc reporting, data validation, reconciliation, audit support and issue investigation
Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, STP2, superannuation and leave management
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and meet other probity requirements
Desirable
Experience with UKG Workforce Management, including employee data, employment terms, work rule profiles, holiday profiles, timecards and EC-to-UKG integrations
Strong understanding of payroll, workforce management and reporting data flows across SuccessFactors, ECP and UKG environments
Qualifications in Information Systems, HR, Business, or SAP payroll certification
