Position Overview
As the Maintenance Frontline Manager, you will lead and manage our Monday to Friday trades teams to ensure all maintenance activities are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest standard. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to minimize equipment downtime and maximize plant availability. Collaboration with production, engineering and quality teams will be essential to achieve operational goals and maintain a high‐performing manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach and manage maintenance technicians and contractors to ensure all maintenance is performed in a timely and professional manner
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Coordinate the use of subcontractors and external resources as required
Ensure compliance with EHS, food safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Support management of maintenance budgets and optimise cost efficiency
Support capital and other engineering projects and ensure all KPIs are captured and updated daily




Qualifications
Trade qualified Fitter or Electrician, or Engineering Degree
Proven experience in maintenance management within FMCG or food manufacturing (desirable)
Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills that foster trust, cooperation and team support
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and automation systems
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety compliance (desirable)
Excellent problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast‐paced environment and manage competing priorities
Effective oral and written communication skills
