Reporting to the Principal Engineer/AD, this role is part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for providing sound technical design support on mechanical or electrical engineering disciplines, to ensure project requirements and clients' specifications are fully met.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents as per client/project requirements.
Maintain the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
Contribute as part of a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives, including providing technical support.
Provide information to build budgets for clients based on their specifications.
Liaise with the Client and external design teams as necessary for the successful delivery of projects.




Contribute to the development and growth of the company by identifying new opportunities and potential areas for growth and also maintaining and developing existing client relationships.
Provide electrical or mechanical engineering services design for buildings and infrastructure.
Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process, maintain planning and cost control on all scopes.
Other reasonable duties as appropriate.
EXPERIENCE
BSc/BEng or HND/HNC in appropriate engineering discipline
Associate of an appropriate professional body, such as CIBSE, IET.
Prior experience of MEP design for a range of building types
Knowledge of MS Office applications Word, Excel etc
Experience and knowledge of relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, NES, Cymap)
Prior working knowledge of applicable legal/regulatory requirements, codes and standards
