Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background in electrical contracting, looking to take full ownership of project delivery across complex projects? This is an opportunity to join a well-established electrical contractor with a solid pipeline of secured work across Melbourne and wider Victoria. You'll manage projects end-to-end, from planning and procurement through to site delivery and completion, overseeing technically challenging electrical works across infrastructure, commercial, industrial and large-scale project environments. You'll play a key role in coordinating project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme, budget and quality expectations. This role would suit someone who has developed their career within an electrical contracting environment and is now looking to take ownership of larger or more complex projects. Whether you're an established Project Manager or an experienced electrical professional ready to step into greater project responsibility, there is genuine scope to grow within a business with a strong forward pipeline.
The Role
Take full ownership of electrical project delivery from planning through to completion
Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and commercial performance
Coordinate materials,
equipment, subcontractors and site resources
Lead and support site teams, ensuring productivity and programme targets are met
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance across all project stages
Manage project risks, variations and changing site requirements
Liaise with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
Provide clear project reporting and ensure key milestones are achieved
Requirements
Proven experience as a Project Manager within electrical contracting or similar
Strong understanding of electrical construction delivery, including procurement and site management
Exposure to infrastructure, commercial, industrial or major project environments
Electrical trade background or relevant engineering/technical qualification preferred
