Snowy 2.0
. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role:
This role is principally about planning maintenance activities the FGJV's facilities management software and managing contract service providers. This role also co-ordinates maintenance activities and resources on the site and subsequently develops timelines and budgets.
Qualifications:
White Card
C Class Driver's License
Trade related qualifications
Cert IV in Training & Assessment Preferrable
Experience:
Demonstrated computer proficiency – Essential – Word and Excel / Desirable – PowerPoint / Publisher
Demonstrated experience in following written communication including job orders and directions
2-5 years' experience in planning and scheduling work within a multidiscipline workforce.
Experience with Preventive and Reactive maintenance systems, ability to develop others, problem shoot and data analysis.
Required Competencies:
Sound knowledge of local WHS standards and regulations
Ability to supervise team members
Demonstrate a positive "can-do" attitude.
Demonstrate initiative and creative problem-solving skills
Practical knowledge and understanding of computers and Microsoft software packages.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to implement and follow through on multiple issues and to achieve productive results

Ability to work to deadlines and targets and can prioritise tasks under pressure
Good organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Administering all aspects of planned maintenance in SAP
Liaising with the Maintenance teams as well as contractors
Ensuring compliance with statutory and company policy guidelines with particular focus on work method safety and routine servicing of essential services
Coaching Maintenance staff in best practice maintenance methodologies
Developing and administering Maintenance KPI's
Compiling and maintaining equipment histories
Coaching and development of Tradesmen
Planning of line maintenance activities.
Plans to ensure that all materials for the above are available (timely), ensure an acceptable level of critical spares
Checks effectiveness of maintenance activities
Manages maintenance systems
Broad practical experience with Root Cause Analysis and the associated attention to detail
Plan and schedule the sites Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) & Reactive Maintenance Program (RMP).
