About us:Located on the traditional lands of the Wadja Wadja and Gangulu Aboriginal people, Woorabinda is a vibrant Aboriginal community in Central Queensland, 175km southwest of Rockhampton. The Woorabinda Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) is the community's primary healthcare provider, delivering 24/7 emergency care, inpatient and residential aged care, allied health, pharmacy, dental, mental health, alcohol and other drug services, and a broad range of community health programs.With an exciting expansion underway to create a modern 14-bed residential aged care facility and consolidate services into a single purpose-built location, the service is growing to better meet the needs of the community.About the role:Inspire and support a multidisciplinary team, creating a positive, collaborative culture where staff feel valued, supported and empowered to provide exceptional care.Partner with the Director of Nursing to provide solid clinical leadership, ensuring safe, patient-centred care and high professional standards across the service.Shape the future of the service by driving continuous improvement, strengthening workforce capability and embracing opportunities for innovation in rural healthcare.Build a stable, resilient workforce through effective recruitment, rostering and mentoring, helping ensure the community has access to high-quality care now and into the future.About you:Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a current practising certificate is mandatory; post graduate qualifications are advantageous.Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in acute care, aged care and multidisciplinary service delivery,



ideally within a rural and remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health setting.Demonstrated leadership and management capability, including workforce development, service coordination, business planning and resource management.Commitment to culturally safe, person-centred care, with the ability to develop therapeutic relationships that support positive health outcomes and the independence of older people.What we offer:Total monthly remuneration value of up to $14,447 p.m. is comprised of:An hourly rate between $***** - $***** p.h.*****% employer superannuation contribution17.5% leave loadingAdditional Benefits:Ongoing Professional Development and Education OpportunitiesAccommodation is providedRural and Remote Incentive Package (RANIP), annual Isolation Bonus (conditions apply)Professional Development Allowance, and 10 Days Professional Leave p.a.
