We're seeking a
Senior Accountant/Manager – Insolvency
to join a leading
finance and restructuring team
in Sydney or Brisbane office.
About the role
Manage insolvency and restructuring engagements from initiation to completion while ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements
Lead and support junior staff through task delegation, supervision, and review
Conduct investigations, stakeholder interviews, and asset realisation activities in coordination with external parties
Prepare and analyse financial models, reports, and detailed investigative findings
Resolve complex technical matters and contribute to team knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement

Requirement
A relevant degree or professional qualification in Business, Commerce (Accounting)
CA/CPA/ARITA qualified or in progress of CA/CPA/ARITA pathway
Minimum 3 years of experience in
corporate insolvency
or restructuring
in Big4, mid-tier firm, or boutique firm in Australia
Strong technical knowledge of Australian insolvency and statutory requirements
Confident and professional in liaising with external stakeholders, including banks, legal advisors, and other professionals
You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and based in Australia to apply. Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.
