The Role
Meadow Springs ESC is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Deputy Principal to work closely with the Principal, Deputy Principals, staff, students and the school.
Youshould have the skills to work collaboratively with others developing strong relationships at all levels.
As a Deputy Principal, you should have effective interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence, with an ability to develop constructive, respectful, and positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
Being on a shared site you should build and maintain positive relationships with the mainstream admin team and promote our Meadow Springs Schools "Two Schools One Community" ethos.
The successful applicant should have the innovation and capacity to provide instructional leadership enabling staff to implement the strategies outlined in the business plan and achieve the school's vision and targets.
Your specific responsibilities will include the Maths Curriculum, PBS Committee and the Senior Cluster leader.
The successful applicant may also assist in additional areas such as behaviour management, disability resourcing,



data collection, medical support and coordination of whole school events.
Roles and responsibilities will be negotiated with input from the Principal and Deputy Principals which will provide greater clarity.
As a leader you should have capacity to build and support class teams to deliver consistent practice across the school in keeping with our school vision and values.
Proven ability in mentoring and developing new teachers and those that have moved into education support from mainstream would be welcomed.
A high level of interpersonal skills to support staff working in a complex school environment including the ability to coach, mentor, demonstrate active listening skills, show empathy & care and support with conflict resolution will be highly regarded.
