Centurion is looking for an experienced and hands-on
Senior HSEQ Advisor
to join our Richlands team. This is a key role focused on driving safety performance, supporting operational teams, and strengthening a proactive HSEQ culture across the business.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the HSEQ leadership team, you will work closely with operations to deliver practical safety outcomes, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys engaging directly with frontline teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ Strategic and Tactical Plans
Support initiatives aimed at preventing workplace incidents and improving safety outcomes
Contribute to the development and review of procedures and safe work practices
Deliver HSE training and coach teams in the use of tools such as Take 5s, JSAs, CRAs/CRIs and Permit to Work
Participate in hazard identification, workplace inspections, and critical risk management processes
Maintain and review the HSEQ Risk Register and facilitate risk assessments with operational teams
Conduct internal audits and support external audit requirements
Lead critical incident and injury investigations, providing insights and driving corrective actions
Support emergency preparedness and response activities
Promote and coach a strong, positive HSEQ culture across all levels of the business
Engage with supervisors and managers on HSEQ and Food Safety matters
Analyse and report on HSEQ performance, including lead and lag indicators
Ensure accuracy and quality of HSEQ data systems (Myosh)
Contribute to HSEQ meetings, toolbox talks, and customer forums
About You
5-7 years' experience in a generalist HSEQ role
Experience within transport & logistics or a similar high-risk industry
Strong knowledge of WHS, Environmental and Food Safety regulations and systems
Proven experience in incident investigation and risk management
Confident communicator with the ability to influence and coach at all levels
Robust analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with operations
