At Jetstar, we areseekinga proactive anddetail orientedSenior Analyst,Data& Analyticsto drive data and analytics initiatives that support key business decisions.
In this role, you willapplyyourdata analysis and business intelligenceexpertiseto design high-quality data assetsthat enableself-service analyticsand deliverinsights thatshapeproduct, growth, and strategydecisions.
You will work closely with stakeholders andcross functionalteams, includingCentralData Engineering andCommercialteams, to define key metrics,maintainrobust data pipelines, and ensure data quality and consistency.
You will also translate complex data into clear,decision readyinsights, promote best practices, andidentifyopportunities where data can unlock meaningful business value.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Design and build gold-layerdata assets and semantic features that powerself-servicebusiness reporting.




Deliver advanced analyses and insights that drive product, growth, andcommercialstrategy decisions.
Design and deploy next-generation BI and analyticstoolsthat give Commercial teams direct, confidentself-serveaccess to data.
Translate complex data into decision-ready outputs forseniorleadership.
Partner with stakeholders to define key metrics and ensure alignment across teams.
Collaborate with BI, Data Engineering, and Product tomaintainrobust pipelines and models.
Communicate technical issues, trade-offs, and opportunities clearly to business teams.
Peer-review and provide feedback on the work of other analysts tomaintainhigh standards.
Implement version control practices andmonitorfor pipeline or data issues.
Document workflows, ensure metric consistency, and promote bestdatagovernancepractices.
Identifyand communicate strategic opportunities where data can unlock business value.
What you will bring:
3-5 years in data analytics, data engineering, BI, or related roles.
Advanced SQL and Python skills and strong experience with data modelling.
Strong knowledge of cloud data warehouse architecture (Snowflake experience highly regarded).
Hands-on experience withETLtools(e.g.Fivetran,dbt).
Strong commercial acumen to contextualise findings.
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying production-grade agenticAIworkflows.
Familiarity with version control and collaborative workflows (e.g., Git).
Ability to mentor and review work of more junior team members.
Proven ability to deliver insights that shape strategy and performance.
