Make an Impact
As part of our Recycling team, you'll help create a safe, welcoming environment while supporting recycling and sustainability initiatives that make a real difference in the local community.
Key Duties Of This Role Are To
Welcome customers and direct them through the Resource Recovery Centre.
Assist customers to safely unload recyclable materials.
Identify reusable household goods suitable for resale.
Support the operation of the onsite Reuse Store.
Serve customers, process sales and assist with pricing donated items.
Unload and prepare furniture, bric-a-brac and household goods for sale.
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
Assist with mattress recycling and other recycling activities.
Occasionally provide support at our Buderim site when operationally required.
What You Can Bring To The Team
You enjoy practical work, love helping customers and don't mind getting your hands dirty. You're reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
A positive, team-focused attitude.
Ability to perform physically demanding work,



including standing for long periods and safely lifting household items.
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and occasional short-notice shifts.
Retail, recycling or waste industry experience (highly regarded).
Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one (highly regarded).
Cash handling and basic computer skills (desirable).
You will be required to undertake a
"Fit2Work"
National Criminal History Check and hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
