We're partnering with a large Australian critical infrastructure organisation undertaking a significant multi-year cyber transformation.
This is an chance to help build and mature the Security Architecture function from the ground up. You'll have genuine influence over strategy, standards and the future direction of the practice while leading a small team of architects.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Security Architecture, you'll lead the day-to-day Security Architecture team while helping shape and mature the practice.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical architecture, stakeholder engagement and people leadership. You'll establish security standards, governance and reusable patterns, champion Secure by Design, and work closely with Solution Architecture to support major transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Security Architects.
Build and mature the Security Architecture practice, including governance, standards and documentation.
Champion Secure by Design across enterprise projects.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to provide architectural guidance.
Support large transformation programmes and architecture review activities.
Drive continuous improvement across the security architecture function.




About You
You'll likely be a Lead or Principal Security Architect looking to take the next step in your leadership career.
You'll bring experience across:
Broad Security Architecture experience with deep expertise in infrastructure, networking and on-premises environments
Microsoft ecosystem, including Active Directory, Windows Server and operating system security
Windows hardening, security baselining and infrastructure security assessments
Hybrid cloud security within enterprise environments
Secure by Design and architecture governance
Developing security standards, reusable patterns and architecture frameworks
Operational Technology (OT) or critical infrastructure experience (desirable)
