The Role
As an Emergency Safety Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of emergency response capabilities at Osborne.
This position operates on a rotating shift roster covering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Flexibility and reliability are essential.
Location
Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA - land based.

Essential Qualifications
PUAFIR207 - Operate Breathing Apparatus Open Circuit




RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in confined spaces
PUAFER008 - Confine small emergencies in a facility
MSMWHS217 - Gas Test Atmospheres
RIIWHS204E - Work Safely at Heights
HLTAID014 - Advanced First Aid & CPR
CPCCWHS**** - White Card
PUAFIR203 - Respond to Urban Fire
RIIERR201E - Conduct Fire Team Operations and
RIIRIS201D - Conduct local risk control
National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
Currently hold or ability to gain NSSIC
Currently hold or ability to gain NV1 security clearance
Bonus Skills and Qualifications
Certificate III in Public Safety or Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue
Advanced Firefighting
Defence or maritime experience
