About The Role
The Associate Director, Planned Disruptions leads the coordination and management of planned disruptions across Victoria's transport network, including roads, public transport and third-party works.
The role ensures disruptions are scheduled and managed to achieve the best outcomes for transport users and the State, while providing expert advice to senior executives, government and key stakeholders on impacts, risks and mitigation strategies.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.
The successful candidate will drive strategic planning, continuous improvement and innovation, lead complex projects and change initiatives, and work collaboratively across government and transport agencies to deliver effective transport outcomes.

Provides trusted strategic advice to senior stakeholders, using sound judgement to navigate complex issues and support informed decision-making.
Leads and develops high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, accountability and positive outcomes in complex and changing environments.
Builds strong stakeholder relationships, influencing and negotiating effectively to achieve outcomes and manage competing priorities.
Thinks strategically and analytically, identifying emerging issues, assessing risks and delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Communicates with impact and drives change, producing high-quality written material and leading reform, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications And Experience
You'll bring:
Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to lead teams through change and transformation (desirable).
Extensive experience within the transport sector or a related industry, with a robust understanding of complex operational environments (desirable).
Relevant tertiary qualifications and a track record of driving technical and non-technical innovation to improve outcomes (desirable).
