Position Overview
Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Configuration Officer to join our Engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career qualified to develop experience in Configuration Management, supporting engineering projects through the management of product data, documentation, engineering changes, and configuration records.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain exposure to industry-leading systems and processes, including Enovia PLM, while contributing to nationally significant defence programs.
Primary Duties
Support the maintenance and control of engineering product and design configurations within Enovia PLM.
Assist with the release, revision, and management of configuration items, engineering documentation, and technical data.
Coordinate Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Engineering Review Board (ERB) meetings, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
Support engineering change management activities and maintain accurate configuration records throughout the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with engineering, project, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with Configuration Management processes and procedures.
Contribute to configuration audits, baseline validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Technical or trade qualifications are an advantage.
Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
Experience
Experience in engineering support, project administration, document control, data management, or a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
Exposure to PLM, ERP, document management systems, or technical documentation is advantageous.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Defence industry experience is beneficial but not required.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance up to NV1 (must be an Australian Citizen).
