About The Role
As a teacher, IT and Cybersecurity, in the Business & IT Area, your key responsibilities include:
Plan education practices and delivery sessions that reflect the most effective way to engage learners
Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology, including Moodle, to engage learners and meet their needs and learning styles
Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
Adapt learning and assessment materials to cater for different students, learning environments, facilities, and resources
Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught
Ensure high quality, up to date and relevant teaching delivery, assessment and student engagement strategies to support learner success and contribute to the achievement of shared Chisholm goals
Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment
About You
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.




Qualifications Required For The Role
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****) or qualifications that meet the Standards for RTOs ****
A Relevant or Equivalent Industry VET Qualification(s) in any of the following: (relevant to your position application)
UEE***** Computer Assembly and Repair
ICT***** Information Technology
ICT***** Information Technology
*****VIC Cert IV in Cyber
ICT***** Diploma of Information Technology (Database and/or Cloud Computing and/or Artificial Intelligence specialisation preferred)
*****VIC Emerging Technologies
Registration with relevant skilled bodies as required for the teaching discipline
A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge
