The Senior Project Manager (Security & Technology) provides proactive and effective management of security / technology related capital projects and minor works across SAPOL's built asset portfolio including site strategic reviews, system audits, and developing accurate diagrams for existing equipment, developing robust specifications, contributing to business cases, and leading stakeholder consultation for Physical Assets Services Branch (PASB) projects and programs.
Key responsibilities include strategic focus on upgrading or introducing new building physical security and ICT infrastructure,



conducting capability upgrades in portfolio security technology and other security infrastructure works as required from time to time.
The role leads delivery of complex projects, with a focus on managing contractors and stakeholder engagements, and ensuring delivery against operational requirements.
The Senior Project Manager will be a leader in the use of best practice project management processes for the initiation, design, delivery and review phases and employ effective risk and financial management techniques ensuring Physical Assets portfolio projects meet operational objectives.
The position provides expertise regarding the planning, design, procurement, management, and delivery of security and technology projects for SAPOL's building assets with a value for money focus.
The role provides expertise in physical security infrastructure and building related technology systems, a range of technology platforms including intelligent building systems, CCTV systems, access control, security systems, audio visual, video conferencing and base build network infrastructure for accommodation and capital delivery projects.
Special Conditions
The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.




The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Salary
ASO7 - $116,089 - $125,490 per annum.
