Overview
The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest road infrastructure project: the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance. The alliance will deliver the final 10.5 km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway. The T2D project includes two tunnels (Southern and Northern) connected by an open motorway, with a combined distance of 10.5 km. The project comprises tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction, services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed.
