My client, an independently operated mid sized firm, is seeking to appoint a Senior Accountant (or experienced Intermediate) to their team.
With 4 Directors and 25 staff across 2 offices, this is an exciting opportunity to work across an established client portfolio with a strong support team in place.
The firm operates under a pooled team structure, providing exposure to clients across multiple Directors and industries.
They are experiencing robust organic growth driven primarily by referrals, creating genuine long-term career progression opportunities.

As such, they are looking to develop the successful candidate into a Supervisor-level role in the near future.

The role involves working directly with clients to deliver both compliance and advisory services,



with exposure to consultancy work such as sale-of-business engagements.
There is also the opportunity to work with SMSFs; prior experience is advantageous but not essential.

9.5-day fortnights (with Friday afternoons off)
6 ad hoc work-from-home days per year, which can be taken as needed

You will have key responsibilities which will include:
Preparing financial statements & reports for various entities
Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, partnershipsand trusts
Tax planning/advisory and projects for clients
Liaising with the ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies
Liaising with clients regarding compliance matters
The ideal candidate will posses:
CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
3 years + experience in a public practice environment
Familiarity with Xero and other accounting platforms
Genuine desire to be client facing and progress in your career
